Cliff Notes for Manhood
Did you know there are entire sites devoted to teaching men how to be… men? Are we that much of a bastard society?
Being a man is as simple as this:
1) Figure out your principles, you know, these are the things you stand for, and then
2) Do your damnedest to live up to them everyday.
Now, time for a couple footnotes:
1) Everybody’s principles are different. One of my top principles happens to be honesty. Turns out, some of my very best friends in the World are lying, dirty scoundrels. Luckily for them “don’t be a judgmental prick” is also on my list.
2) Some day’s you’ll fuck up. You’ll walk by that person you should’ve helped or you’ll punch someone who didn’t deserve it. Don’t dwell on it, take note and do better tomorrow.
Turns out the “cliff notes for manhood” are actually the exact same as the “cliff notes for being a decent human being.” Just do your best to live up to your Goddamned ideals people. This human being shit isn’t actually all that complicated.

I’m not here to complain or ask for pity. Life is hard for everybody, just in different ways. I’m not proud of my misfortune— I’m proud of my survival.
